Physiotherapist & Founder
Liam Rodgers
Sitting in front of the TV as a child watching the Australian athletes compete at the Sydney Olympics was one of the most inspirational moments of my life.
From the age of 9 I went on to compete at a state level in swimming, athletics and water polo whilst also training in dance. My goal in life at that age was to represent Australia at the Olympics for swimming. As that dream started to become unreachable, I decided I wanted to help athletes who could actually make it achieve that goal. From there my Physiotherapy career was born. I now have 10 years experience in the industry, 7 years in private practice in London and am also the Lead Physio for the British Weight Lifting team.
Whilst it may seem that sport is my only focus, I enjoy treating clients at all stages of their health journey. It’s about taking an injury and using it as a chance to come out as a fitter, stronger, more knowledgeably person who in the future is less likely to get injured, or has more knowledge on how to help themselves.
The client’s goals are always the centre of treatment planning and I aim to use exercise/fitness outlets you are most comfortable with to achieve this. Analysing you as a person and discovering the source of pain, opposed to just treating symptoms, is how my patients return to activity faster and stronger. Rehab programs will always aim to be as efficient as possible as well and combined with hands on treatment to get you feeling great. I have further training in dry needling and shockwave which can be great adjunctive therapies.
Having advanced to the heights of private practice, I have stepped out and set up my own clinic so my time can be purely focussed on my clients. Your progress and success is what I’m dedicated too, and I will always ensure that we have a fun journey along the way. Time to get inspired!

Growing up in regional Sydney, Australia my dream from a young age was to play professional rugby league. By 16 I was representing West Tigers in the National Rugby League. My dreams however changed when I dislocated my shoulder twice and required a full shoulder reconstruction.
Throughout my shoulder rehabilitation, I fell in love with the process and made the decision that I would rather fix athletes and enable people to strive for better, then continue to injure myself. From that day on I pursued a life as a physiotherapist and haven’t looked back since.
I completed a Master’s of Physiotherapy at Sydney University and a Bachelor’s Degree in Sports and Exercise Science at Western Sydney University. With two degrees and post graduate training in dry needling, casting, myofascial cupping, reformer Pilates and rehabilitation of sports injuries, my primary goal is to improve the quality of life of others and help facilitate achievement of client goals, no matter how big.
My wholistic treatment approach encompasses individualised rehabilitation plans which are unique and specific to my clients. I value the importance of restoring functional movement through strength and conditioning, exercise, and education to empower people and achieve optimal outcomes. I utilise a variety of effective treatment tools including dry needling, manual therapy, soft tissue massage, compression recovery systems and shockwave therapy.
My special clinical interests include sports related injuries, injury prevention, dry needling and rehabilitation of the knee and ankle. I have developed a passion for running and enjoy optimising running performance through strength and conditioning. My experience working with football teams has allowed me to treat a multitude of acute and chronic sports injuries with the soul focus of improving athletic performance and getting players back on the field as soon as possible.
I am a lover of the outdoors and enjoy time at the beach, gym, playing golf and hiking/exploring. I’m also a keen runner and have commenced training for my second marathon, you’ll find me running along the Thames and around Clapham Common most days.

Since those early ‘careers discussions’ at Secondary school I can’t remember wanting to be anything other than a Physiotherapist. The human body and movement have always fascinated me and I loved the idea of being able to help people. To say I was devastated not to be accepted onto a University course at 18 is an understatement. But I used the time to complete a Sport Science degree, qualify as a Personal Trainer, and worked as a Physiotherapy Assistant to strengthen my application. I then graduated as a Physiotherapist in 2009 and I’ve loved every minute of it! I have been privileged to gain extensive and wide-ranging experience throughout my career so far. I’ve worked with clients from all walks of life, from international level athletes across multiple sports, to end of life cancer patients. I’ve also been lucky to work all over the world, travelling with the Great Britain American Football team across Europe, working in the Peter MacCallum Cancer Hospital in Melbourne, and 2 large private practices in New Zealand and Australia. I have experience in a multitude of acute and chronic injuries but my special interests are jaw pain/clicking (Temporomandibular Dysfunction, or TMD) and headaches/migraines.
I love using a variety of hands-on treatment techniques including massage, manual therapy and dry needling to compliment exercises and movement and lifestyle changes to optimise my client’s function and well-being. When I’m not being a physio, you’ll find me trying to avoid my own injuries while practising my favourite hobbies – aerial/circus arts and ballroom dancing!
